As a Surgery Center Administrator, she built a strong leadership team and led a substantial transformation of increasing employee engagement through collaboration to improve their tools and capabilities. Together, they optimized workflow, improved team performance, and elevated patient care standards. Keli and her team utilized a mutually beneficial negotiation style to garner the prestigious OR Excellence Award for Financial Management through successful medical device contracts. Keli catapulted her leadership team’s success by facilitating the use of cutting-edge technologies and online patient registration, achieving a remarkable reduction in cancellations. Her belief in coaching people to contribute their strengths to meet the needs of the ever-changing healthcare climate ushered in operational efficiencies and raised the bar for patient care.

In her capacity as the Chief Human Resources Officer in higher education, they spearheaded a comprehensive restructuring of HR functions, yielding annual cost and major annual cost savings in both direct and indirect costs. Her philosophy is to always do what is best for the organization. With the help of the people she leads, she introduced organizational development strategies to enhance support for faculty, employees, and leaders by facilitating the implementation of a new online learning management system that included competency-based performance reviews and access to professional development.

As a Chief Executive Officer in healthcare, her visionary leadership fueled substantial growth, increasing income through culture shaping, operational excellence, and service expansion. Their exceptional leadership led to recognition as a Pinnacle Registry Platinum Practice Center of Excellence. They expanded revenue by successfully launching an ambulatory surgery center and satellite clinic. Furthermore, they demonstrated a remarkable ability to reduce technology costs by over half while tripling daily appointments for providers.

As an entrepreneur, she started a new consultant business in Alaska. As an Executive Coach and Consultant, her claim to fame was to create a solution for organizations that spent as much time facilitating their vision as she did helping them implement the initiatives. Having hired consultants herself in a previous role, she worked to ensure the leadership team had the assistance to make their vision a reality. One of her key contributions to clients was to provide the most effective strategies in assessing the organizations, coaching leaders through complex people dynamics, and providing executives and leaders with understanding and advice. Keli provided expert mediation for individuals, groups, and conflicting agencies to create a rewarding path forward. As an interim administrator, she executed a culture reengineering process, devised strategic growth plans, and addressed operational and training needs.

While serving as an Organizational Development Officer, she worked with the CEO and vice presidents to chart a course for organizational development, employee engagement, and change management. One of the solutions implemented to equip employees with tools needed in the face of great change was to roll out The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People to about 80% of the organization.
